Cambridge Antiquarian Society – 2nd March 2026 talk – talk free of charge

Jezz Davies’s talk will concentrate on the planned archaeological investigation, including excavation, to be undertaken in September 2025 at Loch Achilty, in Ross and Cromarty, Highland, Scotland. Investigation will focus primarily on the Loch Achilty No.1 crannog, believed from previous studies to be a medieval crannog, as well two other possible submerged targets which may also be crannogs.
