The Civic Society has had a close relationship with the Free Church since it hosted the very first meetings in the late 1960s of residents campaigning against Huntingdon Council’s intention to create a roadway through the town and we continue to hold committee meetings and public talks at the Free Church and appreciate its beautiful architecture and presence in the town.
