At the Mayor Making 2026 ceremony on 13th May St Ives Civic Society had the privilege of being presented with the “Hidden Gem Award” recognising it’s contribution to the town.
Chair, Christine Phillpotts, and Planning Advisor, John Holmes, received the award on behalf the committee and volunteers who commit their time to shaping events and activities which promote the town. The award was presented by the outgoing Mayor of St Ives, Councillor Julie Kerr.
