St Ives Civic Society was well represented at the Community Fair on 16 May, where Christine Phillpotts, Kate Markus, Vicky Faupel and Helen Bloxham welcomed visitors, answered questions and shared information about the Society’s work.
Helen is leading TWIG, our Thicket renovation project which received much interest, while Vicky spoke about this year’s HODS event on 12 September, when visitors will have the chance to explore many of St Ives’ remarkable historic buildings.
A slide show ran throughout the event, showcasing the Society’s many projects. It was a pleasure to meet so many existing members and prospective new members at the Fair.
