St Ives War Memorial - Remembrance Sunday PDF Print E-mail

Sunday 13th November 2011

The photos below show the St Ives War Memorial just after the Remembrance Day service held annually in the town centre. As can be seen the memorial has now been fully restored and the names of all those carved into the stone can be easily read. This work has been carried out by Gary Churchman, an expert in the restoration of stone-work and masonary.

Presentaion of chequePeggy Seamark has been presented with a cheque for £100 towards the St Ives War Memorial Restoration Fund. The photograph show Peggy being handed the cheque by Cllr Jeff Dutton, Leader of the Huntingdon District Council.
