Rights of Way
Promoting St Ives Public Rights of Way
Many of St Ives public rights of way, like those in other areas, are historic pathways, some much walked and some overgrown. There is also an ambitious new one, the Via Beata (the Blissful Road) which links churches along an East-West route ending at St David’s Head in Wales.
We are using Green Week 2025 as an opportunity to campaign to encourage local people to walk the pathways and let us know what they find by recording and photographing their environment as they go. All these records will be uploaded to the Civic Society website for others to see.
Click on the links below to view our Recording Sheet, St Ives Footpaths Guide and Map before you set out. The recording sheet is for you to make notes and observations on your walk and send them and any photos by email to chair@stivescivic.org.uk
