Dear All,

We are just over a week into a new way of living, and many aspects are changing. Today the Town Council has published a new booklet, a copy is below. It gives points of contact for help, as well as listing some of the new services it is aware of. This has been made possible by the initiative of the Town Council, led by Councillor Tim Drye, in setting up an internet based community support and co-ordination group. Many local groups, churches and societies are taking part.

Contact points for HDC and the Town Council are given. The principal volunteer organisations are listed and there is advice on maintaining your mental health. New services are springing up, one example listed in the booklet, of a new website, is St Ives and Villages, find it at www.stivesandvillages.co.uk. This will grow over time as other businesses enter their details. If you have used other new services please let me or the Town Council know.

Lastly, whilst I don’t expect many of you to be driving into Cambridge to park at the Park and Ride sites, only the Babraham Road bus link remains, and that has a very much reduced service. All the other bus services have ceased from today, Thursday 2nd April

THE BOOKLET SHOWN BELOW CAN ALSO BE DOWNLOADED AS A PDF

Looking forward to seeing you at one of our events over the coming year.

Kind regards
David Stewart
