The Constitution of the Civic Society of St Ives

Recent changes made to Charity Law have caused the Constitution of the Society to be re-written.  This Constitution was formally adopted at the Society’s Annual Genaral Meeting held on Friday 17th October 2008. A copy of this Constitution can be found below (as a pdf) for you to download and read as required.

 

 

Who we are

The Society was established for the public benefit of St Ives and to:

Encourage high standards of architecture and planning in the town.

Stimulate public interest in and care for the beauty, history and character of St Ives.

Encourage the preservation, development and improvement of features of general public amenity or historic interest in the town
